| About IRIS | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
IRIS is the Infrared Imager and Spectrograph: the first light instrument for the Thirty Meter Telescope project. Combined with the TMT AO system (called NFIRAOS) it will be the most sensitive NIR instrument built to date. The instrument contains a 15arcsec imager and an integral field spectrograph of several different plate scales. We enter the Concept design stage with a team comprising members from UCLA, Caltech, HIA, Subaru and UC Irvine. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the IRIS Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.) |
