    We now have a videoconferencing setup at home (dad bought himself a christmas present). So, if you have a fast internet connection (i.e. faster than a 56K modem), we can do a face to face video call. The technology is pretty slick, we can both see each other and talk if we want to. It still doesn't replace being together face to face, but, hey, it's not bad. Our camera also lets me create a quick video clip that you can download and view on your PC. They are .AVI files so you can view them with the Real Player or Windows Media Player.

    WARNING: These files are very large and will take a long time to download using a standard modem. They are also very short, so it will take 15 minutes to download a 9 second video. Try looking at them from work if you have a faster connection there.
